Today, i went for the StarringSmu project. I was so clueless about what i am suppose to do and nearly freak out. However, it was quite fun as my group people are very nice and friendly. Our job for today is to go and ask the public for their wishes for Singapore in the future. We went to holland Village. At first, i was so reluctant to approach anyone but kenny was the most pro-active person to make the first move to ask people for their greetings. Loke xia was my buddy for today.. Anyway, the most interesting thing is that we went to a child care centre to get the kids to draw on the greeting cards. They are very cute and active kids full of funny ideas. We did not imagine that the teacher will let us in but they did. It was a super rare chance for us to do our charity work there. I also learn that some singapore thought that we are asking for donations and ignored us. The question lies," are singaporeans losing confidence and trust for any form of charity/community works?" hiz... Let's think about the cold side of singapore...
Anyway, i really enjoy the company of my 'new' friends. Thanks everyone...
Lorraine is back today but i din get a chance to fetch her.. i felt so bad that i cant go..
